In a high-low-split seven-card stud if there is going to be a qualifying low hand with 5 cards of eight or less without any pair, half of the pot is given to the low hand. Of all the stud players if there is not going to be any low, the one that has a straight or flush takes the whole pot or if one of the stud players have “8-high or lower” or “straight or flush” that can be both high and low in a high-low-split seven card stud the whole pot is scooped. |

Up to ten players can play a five card stud poker; the initial dealing involves dealing each player with one face down card and face up card for each player in the table. The betting round is normally initiated by the low hand. Following that round, alternating face up and face down cards are dealt until there are 5 cards; there is a betting session after each street card is dealt. The high hand wins the five card stud. |
